Hello everyone, I am Laura!

I’m a youth worker by profession (or Employability Support Worker, which is a fancy word for it) and live in the small town of Ellon in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Every since I was a little girl back in Estonia, I loved writing and, together with my twin sister Ulla, often made scripts for “elaborate” theatre productions that our poor mum had to enthusiastically support, leaving her cooking or cleaning or whatever she had on at the time.

Sometimes during our “world premières,” me and Ulla started quarrelling with each other, thus cutting the production short but hey, actresses are so difficult at times, am I right?

Anyway fast forward 30 years or so and here I am, trying to make this writing thing a more permanent fixture in my life. I still bicker with my sister, but now this mostly happens during the podcast we have together, Klaas Half Full (available on most platforms) 😉

I also recently published my first (and hopefully not my last) book in Estonian – “Mugavuspagulase päevaraamat” and am still finding it surreal that there is an actual physical book out there in the shops with my name on it! 🙂
